Iron Deficiency Causes Hair Loss
Women who are most vulnerable to hair loss due to iron deficiency are joggers, pregnant women, and those who have just given birth. In addition, if you have been diagnosed with anemia, a side effect of it could be hair loss or increased hair thinning and shedding.
There are three causes why the iron level can become low—blood loss, the body’s lack of iron absorption, and decreased iron intake. The most common reasons why a blood loss may have occurred include: bleeding in the digestive tract, pregnancy (during and after birth), menstruation (excessively heavy periods), and severe injuries. Also, a decreased absorption of iron can also be caused by medications such as those that reduce chronic diarrhea and stomach acids. In addition, some foods can also decrease the absorption of iron into the blood stream. In addition, taking Vitamin C when supplementing your diet with iron can absorb the iron into the blood stream more completely.
To determine if you have iron deficiency, doctors can conduct a ferritin test and find out if iron is the cause of your hair loss.

Cost of Hair Transplants
Why exactly do hair transplants cost so much? The following are a variety of reasons why a hair transplant is so costly:
• Staffing: because some hair transplantation offices specialize in larger sessions, they require more staffing, which makes the operations of the business more substantial. In addition, the more experienced the staff is, the higher demand for pay may be.
• Quality: for surgeons who have more years under their belt may feel that they will have much better results than other hair transplants at other clinics.
• Accessories and Equipment: generally, clinics spend most of their money buying the top-notch equipment in the industry so they can have the best results. Also, they may invest a lot of resources so the experience can be more comfortable and relaxing for their patients.
The factors mentioned above are some of the things to keep in mind when choosing a hair restoration. Cost is a big issue and it is important to know what you are putting your money into.

Ancient Cures For Hair Loss
Hair loss has always been a problem throughout history. Even dating back to cavemen, people found some kind of way to try and cure their hair loss.
A couple of years ago, a frozen body of a male was found by scientists on the Austrian-Italian border. After looking through and examining his clothing and weapons, the scientists found that he was from the Neolithic Age, which makes him about 5000 years old. The funny thing is, based on his trimmed beard and short hair; they thought he was only a few years old. Therefore, it is evident that even people back in the beginning of time cared for their hair.
Another example was during the ancient Egyptians time, about 4000 years ago. The Egyptians would call to their sun god for a hair cure by swallowing a mixture of onions, iron, honey, alabaster, and red lead. Another recipe they made up consisted of rubbing fats of different animals onto the scalp such as crocodiles, lions, serpents, and geese. Lastly, the Egyptians thought that eating toes of dogs, refusing to go on dates, and even a hoof of a donkey, would improve hair growth. But of course, all of these so-called cures failed.
As one can see, people thought of some of the craziest ideas in order to maintain and reduce their hair loss. Although none of these works, it shows that hair has always been a prominent issue.

The Advantages of Follicular Unit Extraction
So why exactly is FUE a preferred hair restoration procedure out there? FUE requires no scalpels, strip surgery, and no stitches. Unlike a more traditional hair transplant that requires cutting a slice of flesh from the back and side of the head, FUE is linear scar-free. And best of all, because t can be used to transplant body hair in Body hair transplantation, the number of transplant-able hair is greatly increased. The newly transplanted hair follicles then grow in a natural pattern from the first hair restoration treatment. In addition, Body Hair Transplantation adds the entire body-hair supply to the donor resource, allowing even those who are severely bald or suffering from hair loss to aim for fuller and better hair restoration in ways that are not possible with a more traditional hair transplant. Patients who have undergone the Body Hair Transplantation procedure have been able to return to their daily lives immediately; many of which do not need to cover their head with a hat or suffer from hair loss ever again.
Dr. Umar is one of doctor who performs Body Hair Transplantation. If you are someone who is suffering from hair loss, come to DermHair Clinic for a free consultation and you’ll be sure to leave with a full body of hair.
